Love this idea, Jennifer! Thanks for sharing in your guest post. 🙂 I am inspired to start a project of my own…
What a happy looking window treatment!
Aren’t they pretty?! Jenny did such a nice job on those 🙂
What a sweet and nostalgic touch to a country window! I love the idea, and great tutorial! I love you and your blog, and I love Jenny and her blog too. It’s always great to visit both of you! ~Katie
Thanks Katie! Jenny has an awesome blog 🙂 Thanks for stopping by to visit both of us!
Jenny, I LOVE, LOVE this idea. I once had vintage hankies hanging over a rod in my bathroom. I adored looking at that window. But in the summer, when I opened the window, the hankies would blow onto the floor. Now, you’ve given me another idea of what do to with that hankie collection. (Or at least two of them.) 🙂
Hi Carol!
I like the way that Jenny attached them. It will keep them from blowing down 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
Nice idea, and a good use for those vintage hankies with a small hole or a little stain. I like that you added where we might purchase them, as well-and explained why vintage is preferred to new. Now, can you give us an idea of what we might do with vintage table cloths? Thanks!
Hi Meredith,
That’s a great idea…I have some vintage table cloths that I’d like to do something with too. 🙂
Thank you Meredith. 🙂 For table cloths you could try clipping them to curtain rings and using it as a curtain for a larger window, if the length and width were appropriate, add buttonholes and use for a shower curtain. For a piece that was stained or had holes, or you simply didn’t mind cutting it, make a few throw pillows.
Great ideas Jenny 🙂
A shower curtain! I could do that! Thank you! I was thinking I could also make them into napkins. I love to use cloth napkins. Thanks again!
Cloth napkins would be nice for table cloths that are stained 🙂
Very pretty idea. Thanks Jennifer 🙂
I thought so too 🙂 Jenny is very talented!
