3 Weeks of Thanksgiving & Random Acts of Kindness!
With Thanksgiving coming up so quickly, I’m reminded of something very important. It is great to be thankful for what we have and to count our blessings. But it is just as important to pass those blessings on to others.
And I don’t just mean to share our kind words, gifts, and food with our loved one…that’s important too!
To really be thankful, we need to share kindness with everyone…even the person who cuts you off in traffic or is rude to you in the grocery store. And if you are comfortable in your finances, be sure to share with those less fortunate!
Wait a minute! That’s hard! Yes, it is…and I don’t always succeed! But I try to remember that I have no idea what others are going through in their life. We could all use a little forgiveness!
So, in this season of plenty, when we sit down to an abundance and enjoy the company of those we love…take time to be kind and share with the people who may not have a family, a job, or extra funds to really enjoy the season….even those who don’t inspire generosity.

Maybe you can try some of the ideas from my post, Random Acts of Kindness from the Homestead! I hope you’ll take a moment or two to stop by and get some ideas for things you can do to brighten someone’s day!
Now let’s get started on Week 2 of our Thanksgiving Party!

Your article on random acts of kindness had some wonderful thoughts.I have great neighbors and we love to share..soup- jam- I need to remember it’s easy to love the lovable! I need to look for more opportunities
to share outside of those that are close to me. Thank you for the encouragement to do it!
