Using and Preserving Your Pepper Harvest!

I’m looking forward to harvesting peppers this summer…they are one of my favorite veggies to grow and preserve for winter. My family likes hot peppers and sweet peppers. This week I’m sharing a recipe for Stuffed Poblano Peppers that we really enjoy.

When I have extra peppers from the garden I like to pickle them or freeze them for the winter. I’d like to try dehydrating some this year too. 🙂

Do you enjoy peppers? What is your favorite way to cook or preserve peppers?

Okay…back to the blog hop!

Featured Posts!

Last week I was visiting family and wasn’t able to share featured posts, so this week I am making up for it! I know that summer is a super busy time of year and it is hard to post regularly or to join in blog hops when you are going on vacations or battling weeds, lol! Thanks to all of you who are visiting and sharing! We’ll see the rest of you when you get caught up on life! I hope everyone is staying cool this summer. 🙂

Thanks so much for featuring my “How to Freeze Blueberries” this week! I am about to head out tomorrow for the final Blueberry picking. It is just getting too hot for most things to make it.

I can so relate to being so busy. Gardening, preserving and blogging – oh my! I had to finish up my weekly Tuesday post this morning. Just added it to the party: 5 Easy Stuffed Zucchini Boats.

Summer is basically the busiest time of year for us and I am hanging on the best I can! lol

Thanks so much Lisa and glad to have you back!

I’m looking forward to reading your ideas for stuffing zucchini, Melissa. I love zucchini and this is a great way to use them when they get kind of big. 🙂

Stay hydrated and don’t work too hard! Glad to have you share your posts each week!

PS: We have 2 more trips coming up, so it is definitely a balancing act!

Thank you for featuring my posts this week, Lisa! And for all the peppers information too. I’m usually swimming in green peppers, but this year it’s sweet banana peppers.
