The HomeAcre Hop #81

Welcome to The HomeAcre Hop

I hope you are having a wonderful summer full of visits with family, walks on the beach, and hefty harvests from your garden! Our visits are over for the summer (drat). And I don’t see any trips to the beach coming up for our family, but we are getting some very nice vegetable harvests!

We are also making progress on our DIY Kitchen remodel… Well, part DIY and part ‘call in the experts so we don’t mess it up when we don’t know what the heck we’re doing’ is more like it. I can’t wait to have it all done so I can show off photos! But for now we are trying to make do with a small section of counter space, a kitchen sink that is leaking, and all of our dishes and food packed into a buffet and china cabinet. It will all be worth it in the end, and I remind myself daily of all the people in the world who would think my dysfunctional kitchen is a dream come true.

Of course, one of the negatives has been a lack of time for sharing homesteading posts with my readers, but I’m sure you’ll all be just fine. Chin up and back to painting, Lisa! :)

Life is always interesting!
