The HomeAcre Hop #52

ice crystals on dried flowers

I hope you were all staying safe and warm through our frigid weather this week! I woke on Monday to -20…not a nice way to start the day. But we stoked up the wood stove and I hung an extra heat lamp securely in the chicken coop to keep the girls from freezing their combs. As I write this, I can hear the wind blowing relentlessly against the north side of the house. The dogs are contentedly dozing on the hearth, and the cat is looking out the window as if to say, ‘Bring it on Old Man Winter…I’ve got a warm home now!’

Congratulations to Jennifer!
