DIY Christmas Air Freshener Spray!
I make my own Christmas Air Freshener Spray with essential oils instead of buying them. The chemicals in storebought products are questionable, at best.
Making my own air fresher spray is super easy. Plus it’s inexpensive, I have control over the ingredients, and it really helps reduce the amount of waste our family creates.
These Christmas Air Freshener Sprays check all the boxes on my Wish List!
Right now I have a bottle of the Sugar Cookie Christmas Air Freshener Spray on the counter for spritzing around the house…it’s my favorite! I have to be careful not to spray when the pets are around. See my important note…
Important Note: Do NOT directly breathe in droplets of your homemade air freshener spray. Essential oils are non-toxic but they are not healthy if they coat your lungs!
Some essential oils are toxic to pets…please do your research before you use any essential oils on or around your dogs, cats, and birds!

I loved these ideas for fragrances. I like to diffuse essential oils, but a spray would also be a nice option, especially for the bathroom!
I especially like the woodsy mixture you shared. More fragrances to look for!
Blessings,
Laurie
Hi Laurie!
Thanks! I hope you get a chance to try it. 🙂 I’m thinking about mixing up a new fragrance with some cleansing oils…I have a cold right now and I think it would help!
Merry Christmas!
The room spray sounds amazing! I love the scent of this season!!
Thanks, Jenn! I’m enjoying them 🙂
I have nothing to share today but I invite you to link up at my themed party (for Christmas trees and ornaments) and my unlimited monthly party 🙂
Thanks for the invitation, Dee…I’ll try to get over to visit soon. I’m battling a cold right now.
Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 12-9 to 12-13 on my blog. On Tuesday morning was my Sweetheart Fantasy Fudge. Wednesday was my traditional Buckeye Candy. And wrapping up the third week of Christmas baking are Dairy and Gluten Free Sugar Cookies. Enjoy!
Thanks so much for sharing, Marilyn! Everything looks divine!
Thanks so much for featuring my Graham Cracker Cookies!
And I am so going to make some spray! We have 2 dogs in the house and my husband is very sensitive to fragrances. This way I can make one that he can tolerate.
Have a wonderful Christmas!

Hi Melissa!
Thanks for sharing the yummy recipe! I hope you like the homemade air freshener…I have found that lavender is one that dogs are okay with. 🙂
Merry Christmas!
Happy Holidays!
Michelle
Thank you, Michelle! Happy Holidays to you too!
What a great idea! I should do this myself!
Hi Amy!
I love my homemade air fresheners…it’s fun to mix it up and try new scents. I’ve read that the lavender oil is okay around my pets, so I’m using that it the areas where they spend a lot of time. The house smells so much nicer. 🙂
Lisa,
Thanks so much for hosting! I hope you are having a great week!!
Hugs,
Debbie

Have a wonderful Christmas!
Thank you, Shannon! Merry Christmas to you too!
This is one thing I had never imagined could be home made! What a great idea!
Hi Michele!
I tried all kinds of other ways to freshen up the house. With 2 big dogs, a cat, and a son (lol)…it gets pretty stinky around here! Potpourri, a salt diffuser (still use that too), baking soda, simmering spices…I like the spray because it works instantly!
A friend just suggested deactivated charcoal and that is on my must-try list now. 🙂
