Lisa Lynn, What a nice harvest of strawberries you’ve had. My strawberries are struggling this season. It’s probably time to renovate the bed. What part of the nation are you in? I live in the northern part of Illinois. My strawberry bed will need to be retired next year, I think. So I will start a new bed this fall or next spring. I’m having quite a few problems with the berries rotting before they ripen. But the ones we are getting are delicious 🙂 I hope you enjoyed the cherries and apricots from your homestead!
We got a few cherries this year! Unfortunately, we didn’t really “get” them, the birds did. But, at least we know we should have a small crop of cherries next year. 🙂 Your garden looks great - I’m jealous, but in a good way! Can’t wait to hear more about ozling the gosling - such a cute one, but I hear they can be real stinkers!

Beautiful garden!! I have found a very interesting caterpillar in our garden, going to have to look that one up. Never saw one quite like that before!. Your cherries are awesome, we just planted our first cherry tree this spring. Seeing your cherries makes the waiting game harder!! Love the chick pics too!!
Thank you, Danielle! I decided to let the little caterpillar/ worms go on making their way in life. Who knows…they might turn into pretty butterflies. 🙂 The birds are eating the cherries before they get ripe…I should go out and cover them with netting. Probably not going to happen this year…sigh.
My cherry trees had fruit in their second year…not a lot, but enough to gather and munch on. Best wishes with your tree!
