The Creative HomeAcre Hop #7
Welcome back to The Creative HomeAcre Hop!
If you’re anything like me, you might need a little spring pick-me-up to get through the last few days of winter. So how about some spring egg pics?! The girls in the hen house are working in overdrive now and my Americaunas have a special St. Patrick’s Day message for you!
Think Green on St. Patrick’s Day!
I’m getting around 30 eggs a day now and my friends are happy to have fresh eggs from the ladies.
The hens are getting ready for spring with extra eggs, the robins are starting to arrive and sing outside my window, and I am so anxious for warm weather! We don’t have any crocus or daffodil blooms here yet, so I’ve been browsing through my flower photos to cheer me up while I wait.
I love the tropical flowers this time of year when my plants are all asleep under the snow. Enjoy these photos as you too dream of warmer days unless, of course, you live in southern climes and your flowers are already welcoming spring! In that case, I hope you’ll share photos with your less fortunate northern neighbors.
If you haven’t read the news, I’ve had some exciting announcements over the last week!
Farm to Table Through the Year
This book was compiled by Gretchen Stuppy Carlson from The Backyard Farm Connection and the 12 chapters were authored by Gretchen and eleven other bloggers, including yours truly! It is available free of charge on my Freebies page…I hope you enjoy it!
