Looking Back
Looking back through my late fall photos, I found a few I never posted. These just got lost in the shuffle, I guess. It’s kind of nice to see a few pics that don’t have any snow in them right now.
I’ve been hoping to go on a tour of barn quilts in our area for months now. Somehow it never seems to be a good day to take off traipsing around the countryside! One of these days I’ll get some more barn quilt pics to share with you.
Maybe you read the post on my old blog, Little Homestead on the Hill, about the kitty I brought home in September. You can read about her in the post Rescue Kitty if like. We are still struggling with an eye infection that she can’t seem to get rid of, despite the antibiotic ointment prescribed by the vet.
It isn’t often that I see things begging to be photographed in the subdivision across the road, but these rosy little crab apples caught my eye one day. I like the glossy red sheen captured in this pic.
Robins built their nest in a flowering pear tree last spring. Now they’ve headed south for warmer weather and greener pastures. I’d like to do the same!
I hope you’ve enjoyed looking back in time a month or so with me. It seems like just yesterday I was snapping these pics. I miss seeing the chickens foraging in the pasture and the verdant mess of my overgrown garden. What do you miss most about warmer weather?
I shared this post on these parties!
