Happy Mother’s Day!

I started Mother’s Day to the sound of peeping chicks. They started hatching yesterday and the rest hatched overnight. What fun! Unfortunately there were two that didn’t make it, but I’m happy to have seven little peeps cheeping away in the brooder box.

In the background you might notice the pretty detail of a dresser with mirror. The dresser was my Grandma P’s and I inherited it when she passed. She and my Grandpa bought the dresser when they were first married. I never met my Gramp…he passed when my Mom was one year old. I’m so happy to have their bedroom set to remember them. Happy Mother’s Day, Gram! Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom and Grandma M!
