The HomeAcre Hop #8

Welcome back to The HomeAcre Hop! I’m excited to see what you have been working on this week. I wanted to share a bit of the excitement we had on our homestead recently. There was a possum in the hen house. We had to deal with that before things got out of hand.

And I wanted to share one last winter scenery post and Say Goodbye to Winter, but I guess I jumped the gun on that. We’re getting some pretty heavy snow as I write this, so I’ll just have to take my camera out soon to capture the beauty.

This weekend I have some yummy chocolatey goodness to share with you! Here’s a little hint at what’s coming up. :)

Our featured blog posts from last week are all about making the world a better place! Many thanks for posting about sustainability and education! It’s not a mistake that I featured one blogger twice. :) I’m happy to feature two great posts from one site. Please go check out all these great bloggers!

Learning and Yearning - Peat Moss and the Sustainable Garden

Learning and Yearning - Seed Starting Pots From Newspaper

Bepa’s Garden - Creating a School Garden

Black Fox Homestead - Collecting Kitchen Scraps for Compost

Livin’ In The Green - Community Gardens: A Few Things to Consider

If you would like to be featured, remember to link back to The HomeAcre Hop. I like to feature posts written about homesteading activities in a positive, do it yourself manner. I especially like posts about things that are environmentally friendly, and encourage others to become more self sufficient.

Please stop by to congratulate the featured bloggers this week. If you were featured, grab the button to display proudly on your blog!
