Hi Lisa!
Nice instructions but I can’t see the pictures very well and I’m not sure of somethings I read…like the Vent…what is that? What is a crop? Do you cook the crop and lungs before feeding it back to the chickens?

  Hi Norm,
  No problem! The vent is the anus…but both the poop and the eggs come out of one hole so it’s called the vent instead of the anus. The crops is a bag like structure that the food goes into first, in the neck and chest area, under the skin on the chest. I don’t cook the organs before feeding back to the chickens. I do cook the liver and gizzard for the dogs…not a big fan of organ meats myself.
