Winter on the HomeAcre Hop
I’ve read some wonderful posts recently about dealing with winter on the homestead. I would love to give those bloggers an opportunity to feature their winter posts in a special place…right here on The Self Sufficient HomeAcre. If you don’t have an appropriate post yet, don’t panic! There’s time to prepare a post and link it up. I will keep this blog hop live for a full week to give you time to write a post and link it back here. During that time you are welcome to link posts dealing with any winter issues you face. Ideas to get you started include (but are not limited to): winter gardening and livestock care, heating with wood or other alternative forms of energy, challenges faced living off grid in winter, recipes and food preps, staying healthy in the winter, dealing with winter weather while you hunt, homeschool, do chores, etc. and I would love to see some posts featuring winter photography! We’re looking at a pretty broad interpretation of posts here, folks. 
If you live in the south, you might be thinking that this leaves you out of the picture…not so at all! I’d love to hear about winter on southern homesteads too! I can’t promise that I won’t be jealous of your mild weather and lettuce patch, but that’s ok…I’ll survive.
