Soothing Balm for Pet Paws
Make this easy balm to protect and moisturize your dog or cat's paws in winter!
Servings: 4 oz
Equipment
- Double boiler
Ingredients
- 4 tbsps coconut oil
- 4 tbsps olive oil
- 2 capsules vitamin E oil
- 1 tbsp beeswax
Instructions
- Place the coconut oil, olive oil, and beeswax in the top pan of a double boiler and turn heat to medium-low.
- Stir until the beeswax dissolves. Remove pan from heat.
- Squeeze the vitamin E oil into the mixture and stir well.
- Pour the mixture into containers and allow to cool.
Notes
Before adding essential oils to this balm, please make sure that the oils you plan to use are not toxic to pets and are food grade. Pets lick their paws and may ingest this balm.
