Hatching Season & The HomeAcre Hop #116

Hatching Season

I’m sure many of you are in the middle of hatching season too. It’s fun to hatch baby poultry! I started hatching chicks in February and have turkey eggs in the incubator now. The chicks and turkeys that hatched this weekend went to live with our friends at Trogg’s Hollow…lucky little guys. Our ducks are beginning to lay their first eggs and soon I’ll starting adding them to the incubator. Spring is such a busy season with baby animals, tilling the garden, and spring clean up underway. I hope you’re taking time to enjoy the warm weather!
