Farm Fresh Tuesdays & Staying Safe

Welcome to Farm Fresh Tuesdays! I hope you are all staying healthy and safe. The news has been pretty scary lately. I think most of us have at least a few family members and friends who need to be especially careful right now. Please be vigilant when going to work, shopping, or visiting. In fact, if you can work from home or avoid public spaces, that is the best way to prevent spreading the virus. And I’m sure I don’t need to remind you to wash your hands!

My husband and I returned from Seattle last week after visiting my brother and his girlfriend on their urban homestead. When I reserved our tickets we weren’t hearing much about the virus and little did I know we were traveling right into the eye of the storm. We didn’t do much sightseeing and mostly went for walks and stayed outdoors.

It was great to visit and I hope to share photos with you soon. I’m happy to be back home again. Soon after we returned I came down with some of the symptoms so we are in voluntary quarantine here. Don’t worry, I’m fine!

I’m trying to stay away from the news and concentrate on my projects. Shortly before we left on our trip, I signed a book deal. It’s exciting, but overwhelming too. I am rushing to finish my deadlines and it leaves very little time for anything else. So I apologize for not posting, commenting, or featuring your posts for a while longer. I’m looking forward to getting back to ‘normal’ again soon!

So, let’s get hopping!
