This Peppermint Sugar Scrub is So Easy to Make!

This sugar scrub has just 4 ingredients and only takes a few minutes to whip up. It really is so simple to make that you’ll wonder why you waited so long to try making it!

You can add more peppermint essential oil if you want a fresher feeling. Substitute another essential oil if you like…I like Vanilla Bean Sugar Scrub too!

Here’s the super easy recipe…

Peppermint Sugar Scrub

This refreshing sugar scrub is great for exfoliating dead skin. Use it to scrub hands after a hard day in the garden.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vitamin E oil
  • 10 drops peppermint essential oil

Instructions

  • Measure all ingredients into a medium mixing bowl and cream together with an electric beater.
  • Store sugar scrub in a container.

Notes

You may add a few more drops of peppermint oil if you’d like a more refreshing feel to your sugar scrub, but try adding an extra drop or two at a time.

    I’m really excited about giving a peppermint gift basket. I’d like for my products to be harder in texture … for example, the sugar scrub and foot balm. Is there a way to to change ingredients to do this ?

    1. Hi Susan,
      You can increase the amount of beeswax in the foot balm to make it more solid. To make the sugar scrub stiffer in texture, use less oil or more sugar. I hope you like the results!
