Farm Fresh Tuesdays and A New Look for My Blog!
I’ve been working on a new look for my blog and just unveiled the new logo this week! I’m kinda jazzed about it. 🙂
One of my goals for The Self Sufficient HomeAcre is to share MORE information on being self-reliant, even if you only have a small space. Sometimes I get off-track and that’s okay…I will still share some of our non-homesteading adventures now and then. But I want to concentrate on helping others provide more of their own food in a sustainable way.

When we moved to our 1 acre homestead in 2010 I was full of anticipation for all of the wonderful projects an agricultural property would allow. We can have livestock, a huge garden, and fruit trees. Our canning cupboard is stuffed full of homegrown produce and we have 2 full freezers! It’s a wonderful feeling!
The posts I chose to feature this week are all about doing things for yourself in the same spirit of my new logo and plans for this blog. Enjoy!

I like your design. I’d love to see many small homesteads find hope as they see that it is possible to reach their goals.
We own 26 acres, but truly only have around an acre to work with. So your design appeals to me. We will learn to be efficient!
Thank you for hosting!
Thanks, Laurie! 26 acres is great, but it takes so much energy to maintain! I hope you are able to take on all of your homesteading goals on the smaller section you are using!
Thanks for joining the party!

Hi Connie!
Thank you very much! Best wishes with rebranding your blog…it’s fun and inspiring to freshen things up!
I’m happy to feature your post about getting ready for food shortages. I do believe that prices will increase and many things will be difficult to find…one of the reasons I wanted to bring some focus back to my blog on becoming more self-reliant!
I’m looking forward to your new post…keep up the good work!
Love your new logo! Since we are now on a VERY small piece of property I am always looking for ideas on gardening in a small space! thanks for featuring my post on the fruit and vegetable wash, when I grew our own I never worried but now it’s a different story! Thanks for hosting your wonderful blog hp each week too!
