Farm Fresh Tuesdays and Apple Season!

I love apples…who doesn’t? With late summer in full swing, apple season is upon us! I love those first summer apples like yellow transparent…Yum! In addition, with so many kids getting ready to go back to school I have apples for teachers and schoolbuses on my mind. We saw our first schoolbus bringing kids home from preschool today…so cute. 🙂

Apple Season is here!

Apple Season at Orchards and Ording Apples from My Buying Club

There are quite a few apple orchards in our area where you can pick your own or even purchase fruit that has 1/10th of the recommended spray. I also like to order organic produce from one of my buying clubs when they have seconds or juicing apples available.

Since my apple trees were all destroyed by rabbits and deer, I’ve been purchasing apples or gathering wild ones from a field nearby. I’m sharing my apple posts in the hop this week so you can read how I like to use this delicious fruit!

Golden Delicious apples are seasonally available from Azure Standard 🙂

Do you have any favorite apple recipes? I hope you’ll share them with us this week!
