At the house I lived in for 10 years we had giant lavender bushes out front that all the honeybees and bumblebees would flock too. That’s my favorite plant for bees and for my health and enjoyment!

That sounds lovely, Mary! It is a bit too cold for lavender where I live, so I’m a tad envious!

      Hi Carol,
I love native plants too! And they are great for our native pollinators. Thanks for sharing!

Black locusts have such a wonderful scent! And of course, so do the fruit trees 🙂 I’ve been seeing bees on our apple trees this week! Thanks for stopping by, Jenn!

Our favorite Bee- plant is our fruit trees. They are all over the peach, cherry & apple trees!
They are so busy working for our potential harvest.

Poppies! Really any flower….or plant! Lol! Love to garden and the whole process of starting plants from seeds, watching them grow, harvesting and canning. Goes full circle. I’m kind of addicted. Lol

Lavender is a wonderful plant, Elizabeth…I would like to grow my own but it isn’t hardy enough for my area. I may need to plant some in a pot and bring it indoors for the winter!

Me too, Nancy 🙂 I used to have butterfly bushes but they died out over a particularly hard winter. I need some new ones!
