Have you started your countdown to spring yet? I know I have! I’ve been jotting down the dates to start all my seeds on my gardening calendar this week, and getting my seed starting station set up. Although the first day of spring is rarely a great gardening day in my area, I still like to dream about all the possibilities. This year I intend to plant more sweet and hot peppers, get my broccoli out in the garden earlier, and increase the number of nectar producing flowers for the bees. What are your homesteading plans for the year?
