Review of Mary’s Basics Lip Balms!

Mary was kind enough to send two varieties of her lip balms for me to sample and review! The package arrived in the mail on Monday and I started sampling right away. :) I have never tried vegan lip balms before and found the scent slightly different from the typical lip balms. I chalk this up to the fact that these are all natural with no artificial scent added. The Peppermint lip balm smells minty, but the Coco Delight didn’t smell chocolately in the container. No problem, since I’m more interested in all natural ingredients that work! I ended up applying both kinds at once, since they looked so luxurious and silky, and because if a little is good, a lot is better, right?! My lips were in heaven! And once I had the Coco Delight lip balm on my lips I could smell and taste the cocoa powder in it. Yes, there’s real cocoa powder in this yummy lip balm. Of course the Peppermint contains real peppermint oil too! I’ve been using these sumptuous lip balms every time my lips feel dry, and even when they don’t because they feel so wonderful on my lips! The balms are light and natural, unlike some of the heavy petroleum based lip balms out there. I love the fact that there is vitamin E in these lip balms too, great for your lips and your health! And while you’re at it, enter the giveaway for a chance at a Vegan Triple Play Lip Balm Assortment!
