Vintage Dishes From My Gram

I love the colors and finish of this vintage pitcher and bowl set from my Gram’s kitchen. I remember her using them when I was a little girl. The bowls often held little bits of leftovers in the fridge or maybe some m&ms if I was lucky! The pitcher was often used for eggnog over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Oh how I loved to see the creamy yellow eggnog poured from the lovely green pitcher!

 

The soft blue-green of this pitcher is gorgeous!

 

It’s comforting to have some of my Gram’s things around me. I’m reminded of her kitchen, with melon colored cabinets and a dish towel calendar on the wall. Someone else lives in her house now. They put a neon beer sign in the front porch window and cut down the trees in the front yard. But it will always be Gram’s house to me.
